Marketing

Northmont U.P. Church is seeking a marketing intern to help promote attendance and community outreach! If developing a foundation to grow the church by better articulating their public “brand” while also gaining marketing skills and real world communication experience, reach out today. We used to have a very large congregation but that number has dwindled recently - a similar situation that many churches throughout the country have experienced. Our commit-tee is looking for methods to help our church grow and would like to secure a marketing intern to help us develop a plan, leveraging their marketing skills, to raise awareness of our church in the community and increase our church membership. Deliverables for internship: ·Develop a general marketing plan that is designed to highlight our strengths and mis-sion to the community ·Recommend engaging content for the church’s social media platforms ·Develop a social media schedule and target audience to engage with the community in a meaningful and consistent manor ·Identify potential community electronic and hardcopy publications or periodicals that provide a cost effective communication channel ·Recommend updated, compelling content for our email newsletters (“The Piper”), blog posts, event promotions and website ·Develop written procedures for the aforementioned content approval processes to en-sure alignment with our guiding bylaws and principles Benefits for the Intern: ·Gain real world experience in developing straight-forward marketing plans ·Apply and refine existing marketing skills learned in the classroom ·Potential reference source for resume building and future job applications

Chatham University Athletics Department 

The Chatham University Athletic Department has different internship opportunities this fall! Weekly show/podcast – perform and produce a weekly podcast covering all things Chatham athletics. Announcer - play by play or public address for different sports. Writer – focus on human interest pieces, game recaps or season previews. Social Media - run a team account and create content or assist with the main channel that provides content for all of the sports.
